Guest guest
Hi Brooke, I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1991 seventeen years ago when I was 41 years old and am still here at 58!! I did not know anything about alternative measures back then, so opted for a mastectomy and chemo. I was supposed to have had 6 months of the chemo but after 4 months felt it was killing me and told my oncologist I had enough. So I started reading about the alternatives. Besides the Bible, the first book that I read and applied was Anne Frahm's Cancer Battle Plan. It helped to jump start me. Since then, my diet has evolved to almost all raw, and when I stay on this path, I feel confident that I am doing the best thing possible to remain cancer-free. Diet is not the only element to my cancer battle plan but an important one. If your friend ever wants or needs to talk to a long term survivor, please feel free to give her my email address (jenmccraray). I remember when I was initially diagnosed that whenever I met someone who had survived longterm, I was thrilled, and that gave me hope that I, too, could beat cancer.
