Guest guest
Good evening (EST), A raw friend of mine just came back from the hospital after epileptic seizures. Although she is primarily raw, she isn't particularly knowlegable or disciplined about it. I'm wondering if anyone on this list has (or has heard of) epileptic symptoms being improved or eliminated by any particular raw food. In a quick web search I saw that skunk cabbage was used to treat it, but no indication of its degree of effectiveness was given. My friend's seizures are severe and she has reached an age where they may become debilitating if something isn't done to improve things. She has seen wonderful terrific weight loss and energy gain from her raw journey so far, so I think she might be open to advancing further. Please reply in private. Thank you, Nick Hein Morgantown, WV
Guest guest
Hi Nick. I've met a young girl at a group fasting led by Ray Kent twelve years ago. She was eighteen. She was epileptic and had to be on medication. She fasted eleven days. She has been med-free since then. Ray Kent told her that she might have one more seisure ten days to a week after the fast. Two years later I saw her again at Qualican Beach in Vancouver Island. She was a happy girl and remained med-free. I think she was on raw food after the fast. There is a pretty big and active raw food group at Qualican Beach. Helen Nick Hein wrote: > Good evening (EST), > A raw friend of mine just came back from the hospital after epileptic > seizures.
