People carry mobile phones with names & numbers stored in memory but who,

other than themselves know which numbers belong to closest family or

friends?

 

If you were involved in an accident or ill, the people attending you may

have your mobile phone but how would they know who to contact in case of

emergency?

In Case of Emergency Campaign.

 

The concept of ICE is catching on quickly. It is a method of contact during

emergency situations.

 

Simply store the number of a contact person or persons to contact during

emergency under the name ICE

 

The idea came from a paramedic who, at the scenes of accidents, found mobile

phones with patients but didn't know who to call. He therefore thought it

would be a good idea to have a nationally/internationally recognized name

for this purpose.

 

In an emergency situation Emergency Service personnel and hospital staff

would be able to quickly contact the right person by simply dialing the

number you store as ICE.

 

For more than one emergency contact simply enter ICE1, ICE2, ICE3 etc.

 

A great idea that will make a difference!
