Guest guest
Thank you, Alexei. This means a great deal to me! Apparently many people find it much easier to explore and embrace " stuff " .... recipes, potions, and the like ... than paradigm shifts. This makes sense, because most of us have been trained to think in this way. In genuine fairness to all of us, the shifts - from fractional to holistic awareness regarding our well-being and - from trusting commercial science to trusting Nature's design are indeed rather large jumps, requiring considerable unlearning on the part of most people. In fact, I would say that there is far more for us to unlearn than to learn. Healthful living is simple ... unless we choose to complicate it for ourselves. The real rewards lie in embracing new paradigms, in adopting new beliefs about ourselves and the world, and not in any information we might acquire. Elchanan _____ prelest1 [prelest1] Sunday, January 20, 2008 12:58 PM Thank You! Dear Elchanan, I really appreciated your post about the body's ability to produce B12 or whatever we need. It is SO refreshing to hear such wise words in this time of snake oil, potions and lotions. It's really sad to hear anyone promoting the raw diet and then in the next breath start recommending or selling supplements and " super " foods. I don't think they realize that this negates the whole purpose of correct nutrition. If you need any supplementation then that means that your not getting good nutrition. Your posts always emphasize the fact that the body is the healer and that we can rely on our own wonderful selves for whatever we need. I really appreciate your words of wisdom, they are truly unique! With Appreciation and Respect, Alexei Romanov
