Hi Jeff, Nora and All,

 

I am simply responding here because several others have already. My original

email was not meant to start a political discussion on a raw mailgroup. My

email was meant to tell everyone that RP supports health freedom and would

work to cut out many federal programs that currently inhibit freedom. To any

of you who buy supplements or can no longer by a supplement due to FDA

regulations, this should be of concern. And to tell you that Gabriel Cousens

supports him (Gabriel has always been very political; during my stay at the

Tree he would regularly talk about politics before or after meditation). I'm

sorry that I mentioned a non-vegan on this post, I didn't realize that this

list was so strict about non-food topics.

 

To Vegwriter who wrote " Do you know that Ron Paul opposes a woman's freedom

of choice? " please contact me offline if you have any questions as I'm happy

to answer and give details as to why this statement is false. I will quickly

throw in that I've heard from his mouth: " I am pro life but i don't think my

views should mandate federal gov " and he questions the morals too (ask me

how).

 

To Elchanen, I hope that your predictions are not true. I'd like to think

that there is some hope left in us. After all, I practice health in the

expectation that there is some happiness and freedom in my future. And, even

if RP doesn't get elected he is definitely getting more Americans informed

about the issues that Nora mentions in her email.

 

For a group of raw foodists, I expect all of you to be open-minded,

including learning about non-vegan candidates. I hope that each and every

one of you votes for the right candidate for you, after thorough research,

of course. If anyone wants more info on RP please let me know (offline) and

I can put you in touch w your local supporters (i am in Bellingham).
