Guest guest
Hello all, I know there are some animal lovers on this list, please read and pass along to anyone who might be interested. Thanks!!! I'm really hoping you can help me out. I am the foster mom for an amazing cat named Squeeky. I am fostering him for the King Co. Humane Society. I was thinking that I could keep him for a long time and give him a nice long break from the shelter and then find him a home, but my cat has decided to start bullying Squeeky and so I am trying to find him a loving, forever home now so that he won't have to return to a cage at the Humane Society. Poor Squeeky was abondoned by his previous family who had him for twelve years. I can't imagine how someone could do that to him because he is simply an amazing, low maintenence, completely trouble free cat with absolutely no bad habits. Because all of the shelters in the area are so overwhelmed with a huge cat population explosion this year and the Human Society did not have any room in their wonderful more natural kitty condo enclosure, poor Squeeky has spent the last SEVEN MONTHS IN A CAGE! He deserves a real home. Squeeky is twelve years old, in good health with lots of great years left and is a very handsome deep brown tabby with dramatic dark black markings and bright white patches on chest and paws. The pictures that I have posted do not begin to do him justice, they are from a cheap camera and I couldn't get him to open his beautiful large deep emerald green eyes. He is a gorgeous cat! He is a very easy and pleasant cat to be around, he doesn't require much space at all, he is extremely content to sleep most of the time in his cat bed. He is not demanding at all and despite his name, is very quiet. He loves attention when you are ready to give him some and has a deep purr and loves to be petted and sit in your lap. Most of the time we hardly know he is here. He is really the perfect cat. I know that everyone wants kittens, they are fun, but they are a lot of work!!! If you adopt an older cat you are not only providing a home for an animal that will otherwise have a very tough time finding a home, you are assured that your pet has outgrown the stages where accidents and destructive play behavior happen. Also, you can be assured that someone else has observed and can vouch for their character and temperament. Squeeky is up to date on all his shots and nuetered. Please conside adopting him! He is a truly wonderful cat! The adoption will be through the King Co. Humane Society, but contact me for more information and to meet Squeeky. Please call Audrey at 206 261 3007 Please feel free to widely distribute this notice to anyone who might be able to help find Squeeky a loving, permanent home.
