Careful what you believe ... some of those ... perhaps most ... contain the

analog B12, which actually occupies the B12 receptors and makes them

unavailable to latch onto real B12. The issues here ... at the level of the

chemistry involved ... are more intricate than one might imagine.

 

Synthetics of " methylcobalamin " are NOT vitamin B12.

It should be pointed out that B12 supplements from methylcobalamin, rather

than cyanocobalamin, are readily available, making the concern raised in

this article about cyanide irrelevant, as long as we are taking the right

supplements.
