Hello!

I have a friend with osteoporosis. Can anyone tell me which raw vegan foods are

high in calcium?

Thanks!

Thanks, Shari. My pleasure! I just posted some grape photos on our 's

photo section. It was a beautiful weekend in the vineyard!

Erinn,

One of the biggest steps is getting off animal products to reduce

acidity, which leaches the body's calcium. Other things that acidify:

caffeine, alcohol, and aspirin.

Here is a chart of foods and their calcium content that I created:

http://www.soystache.com/calcium.htm

I clearly distinguish between animal-based and plant-based foods.

Note where the first cow's milk is on the list (the " food " that is

supposed to be good for the bones.)
