Guest guest
From a post in another group, may interest some people here: ____________ By definition, science can never " prove " anything. When we speak of science as if it can, we lose the respect of those with genuine training in the sciences, we damage our own credibility. Instead, we might serve ourselves better ... communicate our message more effectively ... by saying, for example, " This study seems to suggest that XXX. " This more accurately expresses what the study (ANY study) does, and it also creates a more inviting space in which someone can respond, even voice a different opinion.
