Guest guest
I stopped at Nature's Pantry health food store in downtown Bellevue (WA) today and saw some notices on their bulletin board about a Thai-themed raw food dinner being scheduled for next week (the 17th, I think). And after that they intend to offer raw food dinners. The person I spoke with didn't have much information about these announcements, such as what the Thai-theme menu would include or the actual time of the event, though I found out the price will be $35 or so and they are taking reservations. I asked who the chef is and was told that it is someone who used to work at PCC and was hired to prepare their deli and other items. He is currently out on vacation until next week (probably back on Monday), but when he is there he has been preparing additional raw food dishes. Nature's Pantry typically has a number of dishes they offer repeatedly, including pizza, hot soup, and sandwiches, with a few different salads and also will prepare fruit or veggie smoothies. I won't be trying out the Thai dinner, as I have plans for that evening, but I'm curious to know about their future plans for raw dinners there - whether these will be regularly offered, at what time of the day, and what kind of dishes these will be.
