Guest guest
Elachan, Hello! I appreciate your enthusiasm in answering our questions. I try to keep my responses simple as I feel a lot of people are just ovewhelmed by the fact that they are consuming way too much fat, so I try to keep it simple, and they " check-out " w/ overly complicated answers (initially). If someone asks for more deatiled information....,then I think it is sometimes wise to keep it in a PM (private email). I do appreciate your explanations though; although, at times find your tone rather amusing. As for primal nutritional program I was actually grabbing that from a book I read concerning the works of Dr. Warburg, the Nobel Prize Winner who proved that cancer thrives in an acidic enviornment. But, the primal state is when our cells can no longer take in oxygen to convert glucose into energy. When our cells lack oxygen they revert to nourishing itself by converting glucose therough the process of fermentation. Fermentation produces lactic acid....and produces a number of other negative reactions of which I am sure you are already aware, so I won't be redundant and list them here. My point was that many people have such a messed up biochemical environment in their body that their body will take a long while to use their fuel that nature intended for their body properly. It is possible, as proven by diabetics who have taken on a healthy raw lifestyle of fruit and green leafies. Maybe I have an overly simplistic view of the bio-chemical/nutritional process, but I am always open to learning and hearing different views. I find it refreshing. As for undernourishment I have to play a careful balance between what I take in and what I expend (personally, energy-wise). I am only 5 tall and even on all fruit raw w/ leafies have a tendency to overeat, as noted by my weight, which my BMI is in the healthy range, but IMO the BMI's aren't accurate (as set by the govt.). But, I find that 2,000 is about my minimum. Peace and have a good day. --Monica PS I started reading some of Dr. Warburg's info from various references on the web and @ the library after having seen the chapter in Victoria B's " Green For Life. " In fact, I am pretty sure that is where I read the terms " primal nutrition. " But, I tend to book hog @ the library, so I also could have read it from other references afterwards.
