Guest guest
Just wanted to answer some FAQs I've been getting. Firstly, the almonds *are* guaranteed. What that means is you don't have to pay for them until you've seen and tasted them. You do have to come to my house to do this. If you're having someone else pick your order up, you'll have to trust that person's standards. I will say the farmer who is growing these almonds is committed to providing a very high quality product. He grew the blueberries I sold in May, that some of you got to sample. Personally I haven't seen anything even close to those berries, and I've tried 3 different fields here in Washington this year. Also, I will not have almonds on an on-going basis. I will order them once at harvest time, and I will only order enough to cover the current demand. The farmer told me yesterday that the almonds will most likely be harvested around mid-September. I'm thinking that means I'll be getting them sometime in early to mid October. I also asked whether the almonds were certified. I knew they were organic, but I wasn't sure he'd gone through the certification process yet. They are still transitional and I gather won't be certified for another couple years. If this is a deal breaker for anyone who has already placed an order, please let me know. If there is anything I missed that you might be curious about, please post or email privately. Thanks!
