Guest guest
Hi All, I am new to raw foods and want to get a good blender--mostly for smoothies but also nutbutters What do people think about the Vita-Mix vs the Blendtec? On the blindguru website, he says that you need have at least a 3+hp blender (blendtec) in order to break down the plant cells enough. What do you all think about that? Also, is there a good place in the Seattle area to get a vitamix or blendtec blender, or is the internet the best source? Thanks in advance. Guest guest
Talia, I like the VitaMix a lot. The cheapest place I found to buy it was at HYPERLINK " http://www.vitamix.com/ " www.vitamix.com. I got the reconditioned unit for $350. You can get older units on eBay for a lot less, though.
