I own a very nice 87 Toyota Van 2wd. It has 99,xxx miles, which is exceptionally low. It has a bad head gasket and a good body/interior. It is an LE and has 2 sunroofs (one huge!), an icemaker/fridge, power windows/locks, cloth interior (brown- kinda corduroy) and is a silver metalic bronze color. Tinted rear windows. I also have a 2lte Turbodiesel engine and transmission with 77,000 km(which translates to 44,000 miles roughly). The engine set was thoughly tested and even driven before it was taken out of the vehicle two months ago. I can give you more details on this. The engine set has most everything you would need to convert the van. It would produce 35-40 mpg and run on biofuels wonderfully. Please contact me if you are: A: Truly interested and have the mechanical resources B: Know what this is C: Can afford it I am selling my project because I don't have time and really want to see this thing on the road. The diesel Toyota van is very common in the rest of the world and there are a few diesel right hand drive ones around that have been imported. This would be a truly unique vehicle though.
