Tagline Contest Winner: Think outside the oven.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, I'd likd to say congratulations to

Barbara of minika.com for her winning submission for the Raw Network of

Washington's TAGLINE CONTEST! Barbara has won a $50 gift certificate to

Chaco Canyon Cafe for her creative and humorous contribution.

 

Our new tagline is " Think outside the oven. " This entry was selected

because we felt that it hit on the basic concept of what our

organization is trying to accomplish in its public outreach campaigns -

not to tell people that raw is " the best way " - but to encourage people

to think differently - to think outside the oven! Also, with the

popularity of slogans such as " think outside the box " (popularized by

the computer industry) and " think outside the bun " (coined by Taco

Bell), we thought it might capture attention in a fun and humorous way.

 

All of us at the Raw Network hope to see you all this Saturday at the

Victoria Boutenko event at Bastyr University, 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Tickets

are still on sale and are $12 for adults, $7 for students and teachers,

and $5 for seniors. Regular adult ticket price will be $15 at the door.
