Many raw foodists do experience more energy and require less sleep. Jeff 11 sleepless nights set new world record but why risk your health? But even the Iron Lady will be left reeling by a new record set by a Cornish man who stayed awake for 11 days. Tony Wright, 42, began his sleeplessness attempt at 6am on 14th May. By 6am yesterday he was still managing to keep his eyes open, beating the record of 264 hours without sleep set by American student Randy Gardner in 1964.
