Hi All,

Just to let you know I'll be having Shari Viger post the info next week about

what fruits (and prices) I'll be bringing back. Shari will also post my cell

number so you can call me with your orders. It would be a good idea to place an

order if you definitely want something as I don't plan to bring back much more

than I know I can sell or eat. Among the possibilities are organic cherries,

blueberries, avocados, and perhaps plums, peaches, nectarines, meyer lemons and

tomatoes. My standards are pretty high so I'll only be bringing back the good

stuff.

Hi All,

I still have 18 boxes of blueberries for sale. They have been kept cool but not

refrigerated so they are starting to go bad. I sorted and froze some last night

and found that about 60-70% of them are still good so you just need to sort

carefully. I'm going to put these remaining boxes outside my garage and sell

them for $1 each. Anybody who wants them can come and get them, and pay on the

honor system. I'll leave some envelopes that you can leave under the garage

door. Please call if you need my address.

 

I have to say I found the nectarines to be rather disappointing. The few fallen

ones I found in the orchard were sweet so I hoped the firm ones I picked would

sweeten up when they ripened. Some did but most were much more tart than I

like. I've actually found some in the local markets that are much better.

There might be people out there who like tart nectarines so I'll leave them

outside too, in case anybody's interested (no charge).

 

I hope everyone who bought peaches and apricots enjoyed them. They weren't as

good as what we get here in season, but were much better than what was being

sold in stores before I left.
