Hi All,

Discover U is offering another Raw Food 101 class at its Northgate campus this

Saturday, May 12 from 1-4 pm. There will be no food prep with the exception of

demonstrating how to pick out a good durian (I'll be bringing one for the class

to try) and how to open a young coconut (which I'll be demonstrating). Here is

a partial list of the topics we'll be exploring:

a.. The cause of disease

b.. The two different types of disease (constructive and degenerative)

c.. How cooked food contributes to disease

d.. Optimal foods vs. transitional/bridge foods

e.. How the dietary nature of human beings is determined

f.. How to transition in a way that works with your current lifestyle and will

lead you to the level of health you desire

g.. Transitioning symptoms, and what to do about them

h.. Why raw fooders don't need nutritional supplements

i.. What non-dietary habits a person needs to follow for the highest levels of

health

j.. How real hunger differs from the symptoms that are widely mistaken for it

k.. How to learn to trust your body to select the right foods

Also, for those interested in transitioning their animals to raw food, I'll be

teaching " Raw Natural Feeding of Dogs and Cats " for Discover U on August 11.

The pet food class isn't on the schedule yet but to register for Raw Food 101,

go to www.DiscoverU.org. Feel free to email me privately if you have questions.

Yours in health,

Nora
