Guest guest
Hello everyone, we have made a box which hangs on our house wall (North facing) in which we store bananas that we buy in bulk - we have found a wholesaler that will sell to us even though we are not trade so it is working very well although not organic. We buy overripe bananas from them very cheaply - what they call over-ripe are just right for us and keep very well in our box where they stay very dry and quite cool - in the fridge they tend to be a bit damp and I find that is what destroys them more than anything. On Monday we bought 80 bananas for £5.00 so it was a good deal and today I am off looking for more over-ripe ones to fill the box up again. If I buy in bulk it is not so tedious as Nick eats a tremendous amount being a sportsman and very active! Love Lynne " When one has tasted watermelon he knows what the Angels eat.
