Hi Rich,

I am going to attempt to help you in some way..

I don't want to just spout off the obvious - yuh know: " you haven't

failed " bla bla..

I feel that I hear you with your current dilemma, as someone who has

struggled with the mind also.

You DO need to take a different approach however.

Truly I say: YOU are creating a battle and it just ISNT the way.

Please - do these things to the best of your ability:

Slow down - there is no rush. The destination of life is the journey

itself.

You need to get out of your mind - and that takes time and patience.

Can you ask yourself " what did I come here to learn? " " What is the

Universe trying to show me in this moment? " Raw food is only part of

the experience/journey.

You designed it this way and you have the power to create whatever

comes into your life. Nothing flows easily with willpower alone. You

need to become an observer of your own habits and behaviour patterns;

without judgement (and you will have to learn that too!)

When I have been through these " bad " times I have attempted to detach

myself and think " Oh,look at me doing this - part of me likes it,

part of me doesn't. "

Then I offer myself (by observation of others and life generally)

many reasons why certain behaviour patterns are not serving my

highest intentions.

Eventually I have created such a case for the " better " , that my mind

flips and " gets it " - Then I am able to take back my power.

I am not sitting here from a place of total peace. But perhaps it is

encouraging to know that I have not yet found that completely? I DO

see the light.

I am VERY lucky to receive some personal coaching from both a Nat'

Hygiene 'professional' and a life coach who happen to be friends.

Also I have some experience with raw food diets/lifestyle/fasting

etc..

My aid came by Divine intervention – but I created it. When I truly

believe that I can be given the help I need, it shows up. It all

begins in our consciousness.

So, In brief I tell you this..

FAILURE is a means for growth. Athletes and professional people use

failure as just that. A muscle cannot get strong if you donot put

stress load on it. The difference is not letting failure cause you to

give up. Daily you grow in strength :)

CURE does not come from food - I have had this pointed out to me many

times. Healthiness is a state of mind. Your mind will sabotage your

attempts to fix yourself because you believe you need fixing.

You begin by looking at all that is perfect with your world and focus

on that. Never focus on what you don't want. Your body will heal

itself without any thought from you. Donot look for a " cure " for

your " ills "

But yeah - forget the nutrition and just " eat your plant food " !

If you fall off again just watch yourself doing that. Be unhappy

about it if you must - it is understandable; but remain detached -

keep feeding your mind with that which you DO wish to focus on: Raw

food and the like, then wait until your mind " gets it "

I take the " all or nothing " approach too. People who donot live this

way have a hard time understanding why we don't just quit this kinda

thinking - but hey! They are not in our shoes and they do not know

what our Soul has come here to experience in this life.

- Just being realistic yuh know..

I definitely have to slow down. The whole time I was raw, I was just

rushing from one experience to the next. It's very addicting to

explore everything that's available. I'm sure if I stayed raw long

enough though I would naturally slow down.

I came here to learn perfection, but it's a struggle. All these

recent failures didn't have to be, but hopefully I'll learn something

from them and change without really thinking about it too much.

In my recent failure, the universe showed me that lust was getting in

the way of my peace of mind and they let it take me out of my diet

and fall hard in many ways. I have to let lust go.

I'm an observer but I also believe there truly is a right way and a

wrong way to do things. Judgement is constant, not that I take it

all that seriously, but it's natural.

I don't have the patience that you have to say things like " oh, a

part of me likes this " or something like that. I quickly turn my

thoughts to perfection too automatically, and that'll always be the

way it will be for me. I just keep my mind in a stranglehold until

it flips and gets it and I take back my power again, I really can't

approach it any other way.

Total peace is my only goal.

Failure is a means for growth, I'll admit that.

The food is crucial at this stage of my spiritual growth for further

spiritual growth. If for some reason, I couldn't eat produce, I

imagine I could eat something else without it affecting my mind.

And at some point enlightenment may not be about the food, it can't

in the really long term. But all progress I can currently see is

predicated upon it.

I don't really take the all or nothing approach by choice, it just

works out that way.

Thanks for your realism, it helps.

I don't know how someone can truly be comfortable quitting raw, but

I'm sure that happens too.
