Guest guest
Gypsi Wednesday, May 11, 2005 2:04 PM [Raw Food] WOK COOKING Isn't cooking in a wok about the same as dehydrating.. I mean I know that the dehydrator dries things out.. But wok cooking is supposed to only warm veggies right?? not fully cook them... or is the temp too high.. I have never tried to cook in a wok so I never knew what temp it would get to...if it was ok.. then this would satisfy maybe the cooked food craves... _____ Not at all similar. The dehydrator is generally set to a temperature just over 100 degrees F. The Wok is generally on the stovetop, where temperatures typically range from 450-55- degrees F in the flame/burner, nearly that for whatever food comes into direct contact with the Wok.
