AM Re: [Rawschool] Lyme Disease/Germ Theory MORE

I work with Lyme patients in New Jersey and over the last 5 years have seen

literally thousands of them. While the most common drug given for a new

infection is antibiotics which would be easy to stop, some of these Lyme

patients are on upwards of 18 drugs and have been for years. Oxycontin,

prednisone, duragesic patches, IV antibiotics to name a few. It seems

unbelievable that people would ingest these poisons at that rate, but they

trust their doctors and many don't know what to do (even though they are

getting progressively worse and as Nora says the " Lyme " is blamed when it is

really the treatment.) Many of them, though, are unable to go cold turkey

off of these drugs because they are dependent and the side affects can be

horrific. Thanks..Diane

Hi Diane,

Thanks for sharing your first-hand clinical experience and these details on

drugs used, this is such valuable input for us all, in my opinion!

PS How in the bleep do you get your HTML to come through intact. I can

see your formatting clearly, yet when this message from me goes through

, it will surely come out " munged. "

Hello,

I came a cross this old post and I would like to clarify a few things.

Patients with lyme

generally start getting more sick after treatment for a few different reasons,

but mostly

because of the toxins released when the microbe borrielia and other

co-infections are

attacked. Borrelia, the contributing factor in lyme disease has the ability to

change it's

own surface antigens in order to hide from the hosts immune response. The

bacteria can

also mutate into a cystic form that is impenetrable by most antibiotics. An

individuals

ability to cope with the disease depends on a variety of factors including

previous

exposure, heavy metal toxicity, the strain of borrelia (there are 400 strains

world wide),

and co-infections. Yes, the medicines used to treat lyme are extremely toxic

but there are

currently few options as most holistic professionals are skeptical and

uninformed. There

are herbal treatments for the disease but there aren't many holistic

practitioners who

understand the disease enough to treat it effectively. I am currently on the

natural route

to cure this disease and it is extremely expensive. There are multiple herbs

and adjunct

therapies that are needed for improvement. A patient on antibiotics must slowly

taper off

of them with the use of proper herbs and a strict detox diet.

If you are a natural practitioner of medicine I recommend you look into these

books:

Healing Lyme: Natural Healing And Prevention of Lyme Borreliosis And Its

Coinfections

by Stephen Harrod Buhner

Lyme Disease and Modern (Paperback)

by Dr. QingCai Zhang , Yale Zhang

and these websites:

Thank you,

Ashleah
