Guest guest
Hi Lynn, I'm new on this list, but just wanted to write in about migraines. I read on a list the other day that overripe avacados can be a migraine trigger. I'd never seen that on migrain lists before. Thought it might be of help to you! Seems like it may be emotional or cycle-based, what do you think? E Hello everyone - this was indeed the first major headache since I went raw (that is since early March and I could have a headache every other day just about when cooking - all my life I suffered headaches) - I think it was emotional - I had a bit of an upset emotionally the day before - a few tears over something that happened in another group and then the migraine the next day - that follows a kind of pattern for me with major headaches. Also on the food combining thing - perhaps you remember a little while ago when I was getting terrible wind - I actually thought it was the air that the blender put into the smoothy that was making me windy - never gave a thought to wrong food combining but thanks to the experts in the group the wind is no more I am pleased to say - I have stopped the lemon and banana (a sure way of trumping for Britain!) and banana and strawberry did pretty much the same! (Tasted nice though) Now I am having green smoothies- lettuce, spinach and banana are fine - lovely taste too. I have just tried a strawberry and pineapple smoothie (working on the principle that they are of the same ilk?)- I will let you all know how that one goes!!! Just one of the trials and tribulations of learning to be raw. Thanks also Elchanan for the info on cysts and tumours - my old dog has one on his head and I was worrying about it - but I think it is going the right way for him - he was vaccinated year after year bless him - all these things we do in good faith. He is raw as well as all my dogs are (4) and hopefully his body will mend now. Love Lynne
Guest guest
An emotional headache? Well some researchers think some headaches may be caused by bacteria proliferation (which suggests a food link via acid-base imbalance). H-Pylori May Cause Headaches - Probiotic Use Found Beneficial (AP) Some headaches may be linked to infection with a common bug and daily doses of friendly bacteria could ward them off, preliminary research suggests. http://www.naturallyherbs.com/articles/h-pylori-headaches.shtml swaraj, tev Lynne <niklyn wrote: Elchanan wrote;_____ Really nice job, Lynne. Love Lynne The experience of dynamic religious living transforms the mediocre individual into a personality of idealistic power. Religion ministers to the progress of all through fostering the progress of each individual, and the progress of each is augmented through the achievement of all.
