Ive been juicing apples for a month now and I read a post on another group and they said it was processing the fruit to much. I'd like to hear about this please. Thanks, Scott C. _____ Hi Scott and all, I see that Bob has already responded to your question, so I'll add just this. When we juice, we remove all the fiber and many of the other nutrients. But with respect to the fiber, removal creates an imbalance that distorts sugar absorption. Sugar absorption accelerates, blood sugar spikes, and you can end up experiencing that same " sugar blues " feeling as after a candy bar. In contrast, the soluble fiber (guar, pectin are the best known forms) moderates sugar absorption from the small intestine into the blood stream.
