Maybe I need to pick up some books on this and let it sink in. But, unlike > the fact that theideas of rawfood/health connection just made sense to > me...this made NO sense to me xoxo, denise Hi Denise - Kay here, In answer to the above.. " this made no sense to me " Sense is how we experience things materially. There is a name given to the 'other' kind of sense - We call it '6th sense' do we not?! Much of what I wrote can only be experienced. It is not material for the mind. My attempt was to bring us away from our busy minds - but for a moment. Our minds are great problem solvers. Once a problem is solved, how we like to create another ! I am CERTAINLY no exception to this rule!! I was trying to explain that the terms " right " and " wrong " are only relative terms we have given to something we are trying to explain with our minds. Take TIME for example - The most relative term we know eh?! What is time? It is an explanation of something that happens in the past/present or future. But what IS the past/present and future if it isn't time? So what is time?! Everything just IS " Enlightenment " (as you put it) is not a Goal in an end to a means. The journey is the goal. What is enlightenment? It means simply to shed light on that which is real. Do you know this line: " In the world you shall have tribulation, but fear not for I have overcome the world " (Jesus) THAT is how I see it. Remove the religion from it. I believe Jesus was trying to teach us about the illusion that we call Real as Life; and what actually IS REAL. If we take our attention away from this physical form - we notice something else - Some underlying energy or 'Divine hand' in all this. To me this is NATURE. (God) Have we not already had a conversation about my struggle with depression Denise? Was this not some thing I created with my mind in the past/present/future scenario? Did you then remind me of affirmation..? However, just saying something as an affirmation has no power at all. It has to be BELIEVED with all of one's BEING. Ok - so let me use myself as an example.. I have used all kinds of herbs and herbal cleanses and experimented with different types of raw food diets as an application for 'cure'. Until I finally realised I had created dis-ease with my mind, after which I practiced various techniques to fulfil the prophecy 'I am sick' - 'I need to heal myself' So, if this all began in the mind then surely the best way to begin healing was to start right there in the mind! But I discovered that this was perpetuating a cycle 'My mind is sick so I need to heal my mind' There had to be something else? Natural hygiene strips away all the 'props' - It actually DOES 'assist' the body in healing by WHAT IT LEAVES OUT (mostly) Bob included this line in a recent post: Suppression of the body's efforts at elimination and Self-defence is the most frequent cause of death. Herbert M. Shelton ] The only difference I can see is in what I leave out, that gives a chance for nature to 'make up its mind' (so to speak) without interference from mine or anyone else's mind. There are many teachers here on earth to help us understand the Spiritual Nature of life. Try Deepak Chopra's books Or if you are able to get hold of a copy on TAPE - try Neil Donald Walsh - 'Conversations With God'(3 books) - To get away from the Nutritional Knowledge for a moment helps shed light on the what is Real with this.. Hope this is somehow useful?.. x
