This is one thing I feel differently about. I believe the ultimate goal of an herbalist is to prevent disease by encouraging the eating of various herbs in the daily diet, together with fresh raw organic fruits and vegetables. There are far too many herbs to list but they could include garlic, onions, alfalfa, dandelion leaves, pumpkin seeds, chickweed etc, and also on my course at least it is emphasised all the time that we are not treating symptoms but we are always searching for and dealing with the underlying cause. Symptoms alone should never be treated in herbalism. Just my 2 cents! best regards Persian -- " As long as people will shed the blood of innocent creatures there can be no peace, no liberty, no harmony between people. Slaughter and justice cannot dwell together " - Isaac Bashevis Singer " Atrocities are not less atrocities when they occur in laboratories and are called medical research " - George Bernard Shaw
