Guest guest
Well, I have 5 months raw today, finally, after making that mistake of saying I had five months last month. It seems as if it was just a few days ago I made that mistake on here, how time flies. I'm still enjoying running around Philadelphia all day, every day. I went to the South Street Italian Fair today. They had a mango on a stick which I enjoyed twice. I bought some other produce at the markets while I was there, quite a contrast from the dead animal carcasses they had in many of the stores also. I stopped by a little Saturday Farmer's market stand in a different part of town earlier too. My plan is still to give up raw nuts, but I had some today, I saw some peanuts raw in the shell at the Italian Market and I couldn't pass up trying them straight from the shell again. Guest guest
Way to go Froggy on 5 mos. sounds like your really dedicated. I have 4 mos. of eating raw foods, I started 3yrs. ago but I slipped a couple of times. I like having support on this journey, my wife and myself are going to a seminar today in Scottsdale Az. Paul Nisson is the speaker my favorite speaker and writer. All my friends can't understand what we are doing they think we are not getting protien, I don't get defensive any more it doesn't work. Keep going raw Best Always, Scott C.
Guest guest
I am dedicated. I've been slipping for ten years but I plan to make it this time. Maybe I can even be one of those circuit speakers someday. I'm not concerned that I'm not getting all the protein I need just eating raw produce, uncooked and unprocessed in any way. But it goes against what people say about not getting some particular protein that they say you can't get from plant food, that you have to take a supplement of some kind if you want to be a raw vegan. I just can't believe that, so I'm going to test that theory for the long haul. I'm tired of all the protein talk from every kind of eater. Rich www.rawfoodeaters rawfood , " Scott C.
