I think I was one and now I've been trying to incorporate more salads into my routine. I've been feeling pretty sick lately. Head, nausea, my old stuff. I wonder if there is a relationship or if I'm just detoxing. Like you I went raw in September 04. I prefer fruit to greens. it seems like Bobo does too. just wondering. Thanks Lane ---- Hi Lane... not sure I know how to answer this...sure, I'd be happy to educate you about my becoming a frugivore...*if* there were anything additional to tell....my simple guidelines are whole, raw, fresh, organic or better, mostly fruits, mostly sweet within those, some salad: lettuce, maybe some celery, some cucumbers, an occasional bell pepper, small amounts of nuts, seeds, maybe a very few sprouts...not very exciting, actually. I'm liking the 80/10/10 philosophy..I use Nutridiary to help track where I am, where I'm going, etc...etc.. As far as your head, nausea, etc..etc.. not sure how to respond to that. How's your food-combining? I find that my body " notices " when my combinations haven't been exactly right...like yesterday, it pointed out to me that it thought I'd had dates too soon after tomatoes...hmm...I said...maybe..k....Are you the person that makes those interesting smoothies, with lots of stuff in them? I don't remember... If there are specific questions, I'd be glad to respond. all the best, Bob ps - and there are some other, more-experienced readers who could probably help here also. Guest guest
Yes I'm that smoothie person. The thing is I've been having them for months with no problems, and this problem is new, seeming ly along the time that I added more greens and less fruits. I've cut way down on nuts. I was really wondering how often you eat greens? I remember meeting a natural hygeniest years ago. He and his wife ate fruit except for three nights a week they ate salad. Thanks.
