Dear all raw curious and raw travelers:

I have great respect for all life and I give great credit to all who are open

minded to even think about not eating cooked or less than optimal food. To

try raw or optimal food for a day is an amazingly difficult task for some of

us. So to do.more is even more amazing. Still, with that in mind it helps me to

look at the big picture occassionally for inspiration and perspective.

Seven is a magical number (lucky?) to some but it is a good number for

changing a habit, 7 times, 7 hours, 7 days, 7 weeks, months etc. Some say it

takes

a minimum of seven years to change all the atoms or cells in ones body.

If we are to give humanity (and consequently the world or universe) an option

or alternative to the cooked food experiment for the last 7,000 years then

perhaps we need to set a more ambitious goal. I propose we target " seven

generations of raw " as a minimum to fully explore human potential. The Essenes

say

that Jesus christ was a seventh generation essene (raw foodist)?

I am very encouraged by the mom's and dad's who have gone raw before giving

birth and who start their children on raw. It is a start...

I am trying to look at the bigger picture that raw foods is my path and stay

with it inspite of the trials and challenges and whether or not it solves all

my health issues or not...

My two cents....

Namaste

Bill
