I can truly appreciate and empathize with your feelings. May I offer a

suggestion, which I have implemented in a couple of cases where I found

myself repeatedly " not enjoying " posts from one or two individuals? I

simply

went into my email program and created a rule that deletes all messages

from

those individuals, so that I never have to see them. That way, I can remain

in the group and enjoy what everyone else has to share, and at the same

time

I effectively insulate myself from people whose energy, intentions, and/or

language seem severely mismatched to my own.

Just a thought.

***Hi Elchanan....Is this something you can do w/all email provider

programs? I have aol? Do you think this would work when you receive the

messages

from the group via the digest version? Thanks so much for your help,

Denise

I know how to do this in true email programs such as Outlook, Outlook

Express, etc. I avoid AOL and similar services like the plague, so I don't

know in those cases. However, if you contact their technical support, they

will surely (well, maybe) be able to tell you. But I've encountered MANY

" no " answers from AOL support that were incorrect in the past, their people

are not, in my experience, well trained. Also, if you receive the digest,

then there is nothing you can do in terms of my suggestion above, that can

only work with individual emails.

not Elchanan, and Nope, won't work with Digest version...only

individual version (you *could* write a rule within some email

programs, like Outlook, and have it search the text of the email, and

do something with the email...but it'd be the entire email, not just

the " bothersome " portion of the digest..

_____

In a " true " email program, you could just delete all messages from a

particular sender, no need to search the body of the messages.
