I've found the Google Beta Search Engine to be awesome. Once it's

installed on your computer, and has done its initial " index " , you can

then run a search on your computer, all hard drives, etc..,and it

will almost instantly list files, websites, etc.

For instance, in searching my computer for " Rejuvelac " , it came back

and said that it had found 3 emails, 8 files, and 23 web histories

showing " rejuvelac " , and then proceeds to " list " them, so I can click

on any one of them, and go there instantly.

you can get it here:

http://desktop.google.com/?promo=mp-gds-v1-1

it's called the Google Desktop search...

have fun...

all the best,

Bob

ps - one of Google's stated goals is to catalog *ALL* written

knowledge...

This part of the user agreement makes me nervous:

YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT YOU DOWNLOAD AND/OR USE GOOGLE DESKTOP SEARCH

AND ALL THIRD PARTY SOFTWARE MADE AVAILABLE IN CONJUNCTION WITH OR THROUGH

GOOGLE DESKTOP SEARCH AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION AND RISK AND THAT YOU WILL BE

SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES TO YOUR COMPUTER SYSTEM OR LOSS OF DATA THAT

RESULTS FROM THE DOWNLOAD OR USE OF GOOGLE DESKTOP SEARCH AND SUCH THIRD PARTY

SOFTWARE.
