Guest guest
The body must needs adapt to whatever we put in it, but we could put more loving, safe things in their if we were wise. We institutionalize and refine the art of eating because we don't trust God that he'll take care of our food needs because of all the starvation that has taken place in history. Had those people been willing to just eat a raw, vegan diet, they would have been fine too. Man is scared to death about food, so he plays with it endlessly, and it's mostly just a remnant of old hurts. So is everyone getting overweight in this day and generation. Because man couldn't do that for so long he's going to enjoy it for awhile in this technological age of food processing. This is part of the nature of mass beliefs which a favorite author of mine talks about. Too much time is spent on food, cooking, processing, buying, cleaning up, etc., it lacks service. And we eat too much, it's selfish compared to our needs, the needs of others and the needs of our environment. Rich before: I don't hear of people dying of starvation but I do here of them having horrible illnesses and I think it's mostly due to their diet. I think you can eat pretty much anything and be healthy, as long as you eat. You get all the nutrition you need from virtually any diet. Much love. ~Someone now: That's a pretty generous statement, and it's what I deduced too when all the baloney was removed (pun intended). The body must needs adapt to whatever we put in it. With an abundance and little worry of stravation, eating has become more functional than critical. We humans, in such a situation, tend to institutionalize and refine the art of eating since we, on average, spend ten years masticating, and 76 years digesting 100 tons of food, twelve bull elephants worth... ~More love.
