Guest guest
We don't need to worry about releasing enzyme inhibitors. Do you see anyone physically ill because they didn't release enzyme inihibitors? If someone didn't know about releasing enzyme inhibitors, they would still be fine by just eating the nuts. I think our stomachs can handle digesting nuts just as they are. If some humans can eat the SAD, crazy things they do, meat, etc., and die a natural death at an old age, I think our bodies are equipped to digest raw plant food as it is. I think food was meant to be picked up and eaten, not processed in any way except maybe cut or peeled. I think that's how God made it for us. He didn't make eating complicated for us. The human ego who has to go to great lengths with his extraordinary mind is the one who decided he has to process food in some way. I have nothing against cold water, I drink it all the time, so soaking nuts in cold water wouldn't upset my mental equilibrium, but I seriously doubt if there's a real need for it. And if there's no need for it, there's better things I can do with my time. Service is the goal of life and maximizing time for it is a prerogative. If you need to soak a grain to make it softer and easier to chew then it probably isn't meant for human consumption, I don't eat them. Raw, they're not very tasty, like eating grass or something, which I don't eat either. Man isn't meant to eat everything he can figure out how to eat, he's meant to eat a few things like the rest of the animals on the planet. Rudeness is in the eye of the beholder. Everyone has a different opinion as to what rudeness is, however they don't realize that what they hold is an opinion. People tend to think everything they believe is a fact. Just another example of the powerful human created in God's image, imitating his father in heaven. If something could even theoretically lead to intestinal rupture then it's probably not meant to be eaten at all. That would be a spiritual clue that you probably shouldn't eat it. It's better to be safe than sorry, it's better to avoid anything that could have bad effects, rather than trying to figure out how to use it safely. Imho, of course. And I'm real sorry if this offends anyone sensibilities, I know how much we all want to be right. Just another fascinating aspect of being human, it probably imitates the spirits. Guest guest
Rich, You have a great way of stating how we plunge our way through the messes that we keep getting ourselves into. People really do want to be creative and perform just like God and look what has happened to the majority of us. Creativity is good but is must be in the right perspective as God gave us all talents. Because I have eaten meat all my life and cooked vegetables much of the time I am paying for it now. Indigestion is a big problem and weight around the organs. I am trying to adjust my eating habits eating more raw and drinking structured water. I rarely eat out and I don't buy prepared foods. Hopefully about 6 months down the road I will have succeeded my goals. Linda
