It's words on a page in the middle of nowhere for crying out loud. I just reread my last post on Rich's diet and it's filled with I statements and humility about myself. I don't think you read it very closely. But even if I do come across like that to you, I'm a strong writer and that's the way it is. I feel strong in God's will for myself and that's going to show itself in everything I say, do or type. When you feel the energy of God's will in your life it's going to come out in a strong fashion, that's inevitable. I couldn't back off from being a strong writer if I wanted to. > > And if you really believe that what > > Rich Sachs says applies to everyone, then you are > > naïve at best, and insensitive and arrogant at > > worst. > > I can certainly have an opinion as to what I think > is > best for the world. I think it's a copout to curse, you just don't want to think before you type. In case you haven't noticed, opinions about what's right and wrong is pretty much all that humans are made of. Your paragraph right there is an opinion of a wrong. " And what do you mean by policy in general? " A raw vegan diet is what I was referring to. > > > > Why do you not give plants the same rights as > > animals? Rich: If you can't tell the difference between a mindal animal that demonstrates it does not want to be killed and would rather escape its death from eating a plant, then I see no reason to try to explain it to you. > I think you need to do > more research. Even if you feel no effects from it, meat eating clogs up people's arteries and causes heartattacks much more so than plant food. And if man stops killing in some ways maybe he'll learn how not to kill in all ways. > And I'm not talking about the starving people in > third > world countries, I'm talking more practically about > the average day and age we live in the more affluent > countries. > > Why not talk about most of the world Rich, instead > of just the affluent? > I am talking about the whole world in general but obviously circumstances are different everywhere. It's not going to be practical to always practice vegetarianism depending on the circumstances. But rather than looking at extremes let's just look at the average person with a decent job, a house, a car, etc. For this person it would be generally practical to be a vegetarian if they chose to be. > > Get real Rich. I think you need to reread it. But even if you do see an overall holier than thou attitude that is arrogant and selfish in me, I don't know what to tell you. I don't think I am that way and I don't think I speak or type that way. You can call me on it all day long if you want to. Any criticism of me is helpful. It'll adjust to some degree how I type. > > I hope you don't wear leather shoes or belts or > > wallets. > > I'm not concerned with anything but food as far as > animals go.
