Guest guest
I'm looking for some fast advice. I made Jackie Graff's potato-spinach latkes recipes last night. I just tasted one of them from the dehydrator and there was no flavor. Then, to my horror, I saw that I had left the nut mixture in the blender overnight! In my hot apartment! (The nut mixture was blended macadamias and pine nuts that I had soaked and dehydrated previously, along with garlic and Celtic salt and water.) My question is, is that nut mixture that was in the glass blender jar overnight and all day til now ok to eat? I tasted it and it tastes ok. Wouldn't that be like nut cheese? I'm thinking of taking the partially dehydrated potato latkes out of the dehydrator and mixing them in a bowl with the nut mixture and putting them back in the dehydrator. I was so looking forward to eating them, and I hate to think I would be wasting all that money if I have to throw the nut mixture away. And the latkes taste awful right now, without the nut mixture in them! What do you think? Thanks, Judy
