Guest guest
something i noticed this morning was my eyes. The whites of my eyes have always been a dazzling white yet now they seem to have a grayish/blue tint to them. I also note that I have seen a more " bloodshot " look of late too. By way of some background, I am a Type-II diabetic. Also, I have been experiencing " dry eye " since I entered menopause. The change in my diet has not improved the dry eye condition. I still use artificial tears in my eyes several times a night so that my eye lid doesn't dry out and adhere to my eye ball. (When that happens it is extremely painful.) I would appreciate anyone's thoughts on this transformation. Thank you. donna

When the eyes are healing then extra blood comes to the area to supply nutrients, take away waste substances etc; This is why sleepless/late nights bring about bloodshot eyes. When I have undergone long fasting I have noticed this to happen in a big way. I thought it was some kind of thing to be concerned about at first, but Dr Tim Trader told me what I am telling you - in so many other words. I won't offer any thoughts on the other symptoms you mention because " thoughts " is all they would be.. I will be watching the posts on this one though ..xx

I hadn't realized that sleepless/late nights bring about bloodshot eyes and this does make sense. Thank you. I'll be watching for other responses too!
