Guest guest
I think Poppy may have it right here. Dr. Michael Gershon wrote a book (1999?) entitled: The Second Brain. In it he stated the following: 1) There are over 100 Million nerve cells in the gut. 2) The gut " nervous system " communicates with all the other organs, in a vast network, in order to " meet their needs " . 3) The vagus nerve leading from this gut " nervous system " is used 95% of the time to send information to the brain (IOW, it is telling the brain what it needs); and it does so unconsciously. I'm gonna go with my gut instinct. regards, tev --- Poppy Davis <poppy wrote: .. That is > why I believe it is > important to listen to your own body.
