Guest guest
<<<< I went out and bought one two weeks ago, started using it with a warm/hot water and hydrogen-peroxide mix and I can't believe that all the symptoms of the lingering healing have now disappeared. I attribute it to the stimulation of the water pik and the resulting increased flow of blood to the area and hence the healing and removing of toxins etc.>>>>> Hi Bill & Bob, On my last visit to the dentist (hadn't been for almost 5 years), I had my teeth cleaned and the hygienist measured the space underneath the gums where people develop gum disease. She was telling me that normal space should be 1-2 cm and above that is when gum disease starts. The gums actually start pulling away from the teeth and food gets trapped into these pockets, decays and that's when the trouble starts. Anyway she was telling of a lady that had pretty advanced case and started using the water pik. On her next 6 month visit her reading went from 7 down to 4. Once all the debri from trapped food is removed, and a healthier cleaner environment in the mouth begins, the gums will start adhering back to the teeth, thus preventing loss of teeth. I had all good readings, but I had a water pik stored away on a shelf that I bought for my granddaughter when she lived with us. She had braces and I thought it would help get the food out around them. She never liked it and would not use it, thus it got stored. Any how, I got it out and started using it. I can tell you, it's addictive. It has become part of my nightly routine now and my mouth feels so clean after using it. There's a little trick to using it at first, holding your mouth just right, but easy to get on to. Vegigran
