In my opinion, the most important thing for MOST people is that they succeed

over time. The biological sciences uniformly hold that every species has one

general diet that best suits all its members, and further that biologically

related species tend to share dietary patterns. In this sense, there is a

great " sameness. " At the same time, among humans in particular there is

great experiential diversity, which virtually mandates that everyone

transition toward health in his/her own way and time. In the end, however,

there are some general patterns of eating and living that best promote

health across our entire species; in this, we are just like all the other

species. So even as you make short-term choices that support your present

needs and those of your family, I encourage you also to keep one eye on the

longer term, at the same time.

 

There is no benefit in any of us judging or criticizing any of the others

among us. There is GREAT benefit in each of us feeling free and safe to

express his/her experiences, questions, etc. I support that for you, myself,

and all of us!
