AM [Raw Food] BIG apologies in Spelling Mistakes

I am currently digesting the information you sent on emotional eating; And I

agree entirely. The struggle is seeing what I am all about from my own

perspective and STILL feeling helpless over my mind, in huge ways. I will

get back to the group later on this one - (Quick Flood of tears..!) But I am

happy that you hit the spot - Thank you. x HEAPS :)

I didnt know whether it was " cool " to send you anything at VL? Or realise

that when replying member's coments I wasnt suppose to address them

directly, including yourself.

_____

Hi again Kay,

You can most definitely write to me directly as you wish, and everyone is of

course free to address whomever they wish. I just had the sense that we

should clarify that and make sure we include everyone, that's all.

The real challenge we face is that we have our conscious awareness,

knowledge, beliefs values intentions, goals, and we STILL do things that

seem in utter conflict with all these. It's kind of like meeting someone,

KNOWING he/she is not good partner material, and getting involved anyway for

the next 3 years. But there is something we apparently need to learn!

One way to comprehend this apparent paradox in ourselves is in the

distinction between the conscious and subconscious functions of the human

mind. The subconscious is beyond our conscious awareness, as the name

implies. And it is far faster, can perform more concurrent tasks, remembers

everything, etc. Therefore, when our subconscious " programming " conflicts

with our conscious intentions etc., our system tends to follow what lies in

the subconscious.

Ve haf ways uf deeling vit dis, but not via email.

Elchanan
