Vanilla bean question, For Tess

Hi Tess,

I don't have it written down or anything, but it's pretty simple. I used the

water from the coconut, with half the 'meat', and one vanilla bean. [i think

the first time I used the vanilla bean, I cut it lengthwise like Elchanan

suggested, and scraped out the inside, which really is the part that you want -

I've also experimented with just grinding the whole thing up in the coffee mill,

and it seemed to work fine, and seemed to give me a higher quantity of vanilla

spice to use. And those things were really expensive for me at the time, so I

wanted to get the most out of it that I could!] I simply put it in my food

processor with a honey date or two, and spun them up for a few minutes, until it

got to be like a pudding consistency. You may have to add bits of coconut water

or meat to get the right consistency. I think the date is good for a bit of

thickening, and that maple-ish flavor.

It was always a no-miss for rawlucks!

Good luck and have fun with it!

Thank you! I will try it as I am craving something cold and sweet

like ice cream lately.
