When you are craving ANYTHING, reach for water. This may not help all the time, but it WILL fill you up physically, it will hydrate you and improve your overall metabolism (probably improving energy and perhaps even mood), and it will give you some hand-mouth gratification (a real mood-improver for some people :). Also, in my experience very few people nowadays can really distinguish between hunger and thirst. So as a general rule, start reaching for some water first, maybe even second, and then notice -- as in really pay conscious attention -- how you feel physically and emotionally. Just a thought...
