I would however be interested in your personal view Elchanon? _____ I can only respond on the basis of what I know. I know nothing about tribes in Africa who eat bee ants, whatever that may mean. I DO know that any creature will eat almost anything in order to survive. And I believe that all species are designed to flourish and thrive doing what comes best to them. I do not perceive pollen-gathering and algae-collecting as activities for which we are particularly well-designed. Can we figure out ways to accomplish these tasks? Of course, we have done so. But there are other animals in Nature who thrive full-time on such items, which we cannot do. There is another issue here, as well, in my opinion. As I wrote in my post immediately preceding this one, I presently perceive you as using such items as drugs and not as food. In other words, even if these items might be construed as food in a more general context, my sense is that your use of them, the way you think about them, as not unlike an addict to any substance might think of his/her substance of choice. This is why I suggested strongly, in that previous post, that you shift your focus away from " foods, " regardless of what that may mean for you over time, and focus instead on nonphysical yourself. Then, when I have the relevant positive information to feed back to my mind I can let that item go. You bet - I was kinda hoping to hear your view on algae etc being a less than useful food because that way I get to simplify my diet, save some £s and quit worry about nutrient deficiency! Being as the new 'program' I am installing is that of NON-fractional thinking - as you so aptly put it. I am over my emotional dip and moving on... The outburst I experienced could have sent me down to the local cafe in defeat " I am useless " (esp' spelling your name wrong so consistantly!) But I have already grown in the way I speak to myself! Know this; I have had enough of enough - I desire to do what it takes to BE wellness. I will take on the rough with the smooth to achieve it if neccesary. I take an All or nothing approach by character. Persistant and determind. What I intend is to channel these traits into positive thinking/action istead of sabotaging behaviour. I have never felt addicted to algae or Pollen? The seaweed perhaps.. but not the extra stuff. I have worried alot about what I saw before my eyes (what I have done to my body) and thought I had better try to fix it. I havent been trusting nature because I thought I had pushed it too far this time. i will remain steadfast in the motto given to me: " stop trying to fix problems and build health " I feel a bit sad that I pass these lovely packs of prepared fruit in the store: mango/pineapple/papaya. But when I get to the organic section it is just apples and pears. The non-fractional thinking is helping me to undo the knowledge about which foods have what etc.. and I can just keep eating the bananas and salad for now. I have a question about Olives (because I know people who DO like to eat them off the tree.) I will address my question on a seperate message for the sake of those wishing to pick up the title. Thanx for your patience. x Kay
