Lynne - I just want to say that I very much sympathize with you on this issue.

I read your initial post - and then read the " reply " from Graeme - and I was

somewhat startled that a post with such an " overtone " was sent as a response to

your first one.

And then there is yet another one to join in the " fun. " Yep - only takes a

spark to light a fire!

I remember thinking at the time, that if I had been the sender of the original

post, that I would have had my feelings hurt.

My advice would be to just " blow it off " - sometimes people don't think before

they hit that " Send " button, if you know what I mean. I have been guilty of

that myself, on more than one occasion. (this might be another one. LOL)

I am glad that you are here, and I know that I am not alone.

I am a " Newbie " in here also. I love this group! Don't let someones

careless words chase you away - you have as much right to be here as anyone

else, you know?

And although we should be able to ask serious and honest questions without the

fear of mockery or any other negative feedback - unfortunatly, it is not a

perfect world, and the membership of this group is not made of of perfect

people. (although I am finding that the vast majority are wonderful, loving, and

helpful!)

So just take my advice and blow it off - and stay and learn and grow with me!!

As a new member here I am feeling my way and needing to ask questions -

some of which to you longer around members may seem stupid.

Love Lynne

What a good idea, Graeme. Could you suggest a way for me to give my plants a

colon cleanse? They feel so bloated lately. Thanks, Lane ;-D

Hi there,

I'm actually thinking of fasting my potted plants for a week or so, by

taking them out of the pots, scrubbing away the soil, and hanging them

from the ceiling. I hate to think of their xylem clogged up with all

that compost-based mucoid plaque! I'm hoping this will make my plants

more " spiritual " , maybe they'll start channeling the ghosts of extinct

plant species or something...

Sorry, couldn't resist it ;-D

Excuse me but I was responding to Graeme's post with fun and play and was not

mocking anyone. Please don't make negative assumptions and then respond to them

as if they are facts. If you want to clarify whether I look down on someone or

am mocking them, you can ask me. Lane
