Our Fasts Vs. Dogs' Fasts

My dogs, on Wendy Volhard's Natural Rearing, have a day of fasting

(Sunday). The next day they go right back to a full amount of muscle

meat.

 

I will fast for the first time next weekend. I feel good about it and

am looking forward to it but am a little nervous.

 

I face a big challenge soon. I am going to Washington, DC to attend

the graduation of a close friend and former student. I will stay with

my mother part of the time and my sister part of the time. I told my

mother about going to raw foods. Her comment? " You'll have no

friends. You'll be a social outcast. "

 

Boy, oh boy, will I ever need your support for this.
