Hi -- I had been talking to my hubby about some of the things mentioned here

about personal hygiene, and things I've read elsewhere as well, and he just

told me a couple of days ago that he is trying to go soapless for a while in

his showering to see what happens. I was so surprised! He is not a " natural "

or " crunchy " type of personality, it's usually me with the crazy natural

ideas LOL but I guess it made a lot of sense to him. I suppose now I need to

put my money where my mouth is and follow suit. :-) I was thinking maybe I

should hold off on that until the raw diet takes effect? I am transitioning

slowly (rethought the cold-turkey due to the breastfeeding, thanks for

everyone's imput on that).

Thanks for starting this discussion between my Dh and me, I feel like we're

heading into a fresh, clean era in our lives. --- You are what you eat,

right?? :-)

Just be aware that things can become somewhat stinky while your body is

cleansing and eliminating old, stored brine and other toxins, storage

structures (tumors, cysts, etc.), etc. I suggest using a washcloth for

awhile. Treat this as an adventure in getting to know yourself!

One thing is certain: if you do eliminate soap (and likely even if you

don't), and as your body becomes cleaner, you WILL eventually reach a point

where most, then virtually all of your so-called " body odor " disappears.

Eliminating soaps and cover-up cosmetics (such as deodorants) will bring

your conscious awareness into very close touch with this physical

progression.

For me, this has been a fascinating and eye-opening journey, one that has

affirmed my acceptance of the RF lifestyle and strengthened my faith in

Nature's design and my body's innate intelligence.

Best to all,

Elchanan
