Hello everyone - we have done our first 36 hour fast and it was a good

experience in which I learned about my body and how it works.

I have always thought that the pain or discomfort in the stomach a while

after a meal is hunger starting again and i know now that it is simply the

stomach contracting after doing it's work of dealing with the food.

Once my stomach stopped contracting the fast was quite pleasant - sometimes

forgetting that i hadn't eaten that day and marvelling that there was no

dizziness or bad effects - my mood was constant and not as i thought it

would be if my blood sugar went low - there really was no reaction that I

could see. Just sipping water throughout the day - not huge quantities

either - just sips.

I wasn't too keen on the running to the bathroom through the night -

reminded me too much of how my bladder was before raw.

Last night I had left the water melon out of the fridge to come to room

temperature and I really thought when I got up that I would be ravenous and

I really had to make myself eat it and to eat properly as the morning went

on as my mood dropped a little through feeling tired.

Feeling very good now - had a few pangs for cooked foods this afternoon -

they are awful those pangs but I had a smoothie with greens and sweet pears

(lovely) and then 2 bananas and it went away.

Enjoying it all folks!!

Love Lynne
