Guest guest
Hello Elchanan and everyone - thanks Elchanan for your feedback - we decided " impulsively " to try to do a 24 hour fast to see how it felt - then we realised that if we had times it better we could have had more " success " although it was ok. We ended our " fast " after 23 hours which took us to 10pm - just before bedtime and we were so hungry we had to eat - I see your point Elchanan and if we had thought it out better we now realise it would have been better. We could have started at a better time of day really. I had seen in one of the posts in the group about watermelon and so I had some of that in the house ready. I note the mails on the pros and cons of eating breakfast - for the first time my body seems to know what to do and I automatically don't want to eat when I get up - quite often naturally waiting until 1pm or so to eat. I have always been told to eat breakfast - now I am learning to listen to my body at times. I have a question on how much water we should drink - I know the quantities given for cooked (dehydrated I have read) diets - but how much is sugeested for eating raw? You asked: Is there anything I need to know? The first thing to know is to ask this question beforehand. How do you plan to break your fast, what time of day, etc? Hello everyone, Nick and I are trying a 24 hour fast just using water today - we are now 20 hours without food from last night - it is the first time we have EVER fasted and we wanted to see how it felt. I am a bit light headed but apart from that fine - resting and relaxing. Is there anything I need to know? Love Lynne xx
