Guest guest
The cause-and-effect relationships are backward. Fungus and bacteria feed on sugar, not the other way around. So the sugar must be present first, to attract the organisms. Elevated blood fat causes elevated blood sugar. Cut the fat, and you'll see all the related conditions vanish within days to weeks. I have read, and it seems to make sense to me, that sugar cravings can come from cronic fungal infections. Fungus feeds on sugar, and somehow causes the body to crave the stuff. I would appreciate others thoughts on this. Guest guest
Thanks ! I will try that. How low (%) a fat intake do you feel optimum ? I am wondreing how the body reacts to no fats other then what is found in fruits (no nuts, avacados etc..) I am wondreing how the body reacts to no fats other then what is found in fruits (no nuts, avacados etc..) Rufus _____ I strive for less than 10% of total calories each from both protein and fat, therefore 80+% from carbs, mostly simple sugars. Completely the opposite of mainstream thinking, but then the mainstream are all sick. Raw, ripe fruits average about 5-6% of calories from protein and a similar amount from fat, varying of course with the particular mix of fruits you choose. Sweet fruits such as bananas, dates, persimmons, are actually a bit lower than the average, and that is my primary focus. Greens are higher in protein and fat by percentage, but the total number of calories is so low as to be inconsequential. Avocado, as an occasional fat, is FAR better than nuts and seeds in this regard. A Haas avocado has 167 calories per 100 gm, or which about 77% is fat. In contrast, nuts average more than 600 calories per 100 gm, of which 80% is fat. And nuts are loaded with nondigestible fiber, avocado has virtually none. Avocados, by the way, contain only about 5% of calories from protein, very good news. Protein toxicity is a huge challenge in America and other Western countries today, apparently a far more serious health threat for cancer, arthritis, and other degenerative diseases than even fat. Nuts average about 9% of calories from protein, seeds about 16%, but the sheer quantity of calories is so large that protein overdose almost always occurs, particularly with frequent consumption of nuts and seeds. Funny, so many people, when asked " where do you get your protein, " answer " from nuts and seeds. " Quite toxic over time, actually. The effects are long-term, however, and very rarely does anyone connect the dots. But T. Colin Campbell's large, long-term China Study (as well the Framingham Study and others) is so clear on this, it's pretty difficult to sustain an argument in opposition at this point. The underlying idea, in part, is to allow your system to clear blood fat before adding more. Since fat takes a long time to process through the system, we need long intervals between instances of fat consumption, often days or longer. Depends of course upon what is already in your body. Fungus generally attacks dead matter. So fungus attacking a person, as in athlete's foot, for example, means that something in Nature actually perceives part of that person as either dead or at least dying. Yeast inside the body (e.g., Candida) enters because there is elevated blood sugar and the adrenal and pancreas are too exhausted to respond anymore. But the yeast doesn't cause either the elevated blood sugar or the endocrine exhaustion. It is the elevated blood fat that inhibits insulin function. I wrote in detail on this in a recent post, do you have it? If not and you would like it, please let me know.
