Hi Ravyne,

I wanted to check this out before posting it. From Dr. Tim Trader: suggest

you eliminate the ginger. Ginger is a stimulant to the nervous system and

could be causing or exacerbating the sweating. The body also increases heat

output in response to ginger as it attempts to remove certain constituents.

Best to all,

Elchanan

Hi Ravyne,

Adding to what Elaine has written, I encourage you to pay attention to what

your senses are telling you. Your sense of " acidic " body odor is absolutely

accurate, and many people do not notice or discern this accurately. All

cleaning involves the removal of acidic constituents from our bodies, among

other things. When that odor subsides, which may take several days or even

longer, then you will have completed at least some noteworthy cleansing

process(es) internally. As Elaine points out, if you can continue for at

least that long, you will achieve a permanent, sustainable result. (Assuming

you don't return to a lifestyle that reintroduces the same toxins into your

system. But given your posts and apparent progress and dedication to your

own health, I doubt this will occur!)

Best,

Elchanan

Re: [Raw Food] Just curious...

You're simply eliminating toxic poisons from your body (perfectly normal)

and must decide to exercise a little more tolerance for just a little longer

else you'll stop the process and remain toxic. Hopefully, other family

members and friends will be as honest as your husband and let you know if

they notice a difference. If you're the only one noticing anything, don't

sweat it. Also, be sure to use a body brush and use maybe twice daily.

Hey all! Just a question for some of you who have done juice/water fasts:

have you ever had an experience with constant sweating and/or extreme body

odor? I am not really fasting in a general sense, but just doing what my

body feels like it needs. For the past two days, I have primarily drank

water and a juice combination of celery, pear and ginger. The only exception

to this is eating a banana for breakfast and have a few berries before

bedtime. What I am noticing is an extreme amount of sweating and my body

odor seems almost acidic! My husband says he doesn't notice any difference

in my natural scent (I do not wear perfumes or scented deoderants - just a

tea tree oil deoderant), but for me it is becoming almost unbearable! I've

been showering twice a day, but it still seems to be a problem for my nose.

Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

Elchanan, thanks again! I will stop using the ginger, although, it has been

helping with my congestion. I have serious nasal drainage through the night and

wake up most mornings with severe congestion. The ginger seems to break it up

and remove it from my chest.

I see. Suggestion: Let your body break up and remove the congestion, let the

ginger remain on the ginger plant. :):) Your body possesses the

intelligence, the ginger does not (once it has left the plant. And while

still on the plant, it had plant intelligence, not human intelligence, if

you see what I mean.)
